New: Park in traffic. Switch on your hazards and the car behind will make room. Try it

Parallel parking simulator

Between two cars, first time.

The instructor car lines up with the car ahead, reverses in at 45°, straightens the wheel, then goes full left to tuck in. You see the steering angle and gear at every step. Then it is your turn, in the same spot.

  1. Step 1: Hazards on

Switch on your hazard lights as you get ready. Check your mirrors and surroundings.

    Hazards
  2. Step 2: Line up alongside

Pull up next to the car ahead, leaving a gap between you. Brake once you are level.

    D · Wheel straight
  3. Step 3: Full right, slowly back

Shift to R, hold the wheel to the right and reverse slowly. Stop at roughly 45°.

    R · Full right · ~45°
  4. Step 4: Straighten the wheel

Straighten the wheels and reverse a little more at that angle, making room for your front corner.

    R · Wheel straight
  5. Step 5: Full left, tuck in

Turn left and keep reversing. Stop once you are parallel to the kerb line.

    R · Full left
  6. Step 6: Nudge forward, centre up

Straighten the wheel and select D. Make a small correction forward so there is room on both sides.

    D · Wheel straight
  7. Step 7: Stop, shift to P

Keep the brake pressed. Once the car is fully stopped, select P. You are parked.

Key moments

Three moments decide a parallel park.

  1. 01

    The line-up point

Brake once you are level with the car ahead. The gap between you is what lets your front corner swing in later.

  2. 02

    The 45° moment

Reversing in R on full right lock, stop when the car has turned roughly 45°. The bird’s-eye camera shows this angle clearly from above.

  3. 03

    The full-left moment

After straightening and reversing a little more, your front corner can swing in. Go full left and stop once you are parallel to the line.

Common mistakes

The game tells you where it went wrong.

Lining up too close to the car ahead

Without a gap, your front corner clips the car ahead as you swing in.

How you spot it in the gameOn contact both cars turn red and your contact count goes up.

Going past 45°

Stay on full right too long and your rear corner heads for the kerb or the car behind.

How you spot it in the gameThe parking sensor beeps faster as obstacles get closer, with a continuous tone under 35 cm.

Going full left too early

Turn left before you have straightened and reversed enough, and the front corner cannot swing in.

How you spot it in the gameDistance to target and contact count are on screen while you drive.

Stopping before you are parallel

Stop at an angle and the car stays crooked in the space.

How you spot it in the gameIf the car is not aligned the park does not complete; shift to D and make a small correction forward.

When it counts

Success criteria

  • The car is fully inside the dashed bay
  • The car is aligned with the lines, not at an angle
  • You have stopped completely and are holding the brake, or shifted to P

Practice plan

Four steps from easy to traffic.

Your best time is saved separately for every level, so your records show your progress.

  1. 1

    Watch the tutorial first

Watch it in the practice lot on Easy. If you get lost, pause, step back or replay it at 2×.

  2. 2

Try it in the same spot

Hit “Ben deneyeyim” (let me try). Same bay, same start. The bird’s-eye camera shows your alignment most clearly.

  3. 3

    Tighten the bay

On Medium and Hard the bay gets tighter. Stay on a level until you can park without contact.

  4. 4

    Add traffic, race the clock

Traffic mode brings two-way traffic. Then chase your own best time with the timer.

FAQ

Parallel parking questions

Is this the same as reverse parking in the Turkish driving test?

It is the same manoeuvre: reversing between two obstacles and settling parallel to the kerb. The test uses cones, touching the kerb or a cone is a fail on its own, and you get at most two moves once inside. Details are in the Turkish driving test guide.

How many turns of the wheel does parallel parking take?

In the game, “full right” and “full left” mean turning the wheel all the way: 1.5 turns from centre, or 540°. The counter shows the angle and turns at all times. In real cars the number varies by model.

How do I judge 45°?

In the tutorial the instructor stops at roughly 45° and the note says so. When you try it yourself, switch to the bird’s-eye camera to see the car’s angle clearly from above.

How does parallel parking in traffic work?

Traffic mode runs two-way traffic. Switch on your hazards and start reversing, and the car behind backs off to give you room if it can.

What does the difficulty level change?

From Easy to Hard the gap between the two cars gets tighter. In traffic mode the number of cars and traffic speed go up too.
